CHaRM Atlanta
Atlanta’s appointment-only drop-off for household chemicals, paint, electronics, mattresses and hard-to-recycle items.
CHaRM Atlanta, the Center for Hard to Recycle Materials on Hill Street SE, is run by the nonprofit Live Thrive as the City of Atlanta’s recycling partner, since the city has no household hazardous waste program of its own. Visits are by appointment only, and the hours are Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Book online and bring a card: cash is not taken.
