This privacy policy covers what you send us and how the site measures visits.

Guides, news and directory listings are published on purpose. What you send through a form stays private: your name and email are kept in the submission record and are not copied onto a public page, and we do not publish a household street address as a catalog field. Information you propose for a public listing should be kept separate from your private contact details. The platform can store a notify email on a form, but it does not currently send receipt mail.

If a later release asks for a street address to match a route, that address is used for the lookup you requested and should not appear in a public URL.

Questions about a submission go through Contact. What this site publishes, and how it is written, is described in About Trashbagging; the terms of use are on the Terms page.

Analytics

The site counts page views, referring sources, internal searches, clicks on outbound links, form submissions and page-speed measurements with its own first-party analytics. This measurement sets no cookie.

Every public page also loads the Google tag for Google Analytics when the page is viewed. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to measure visits, and Google receives technical request data from your browser, such as your IP address and the pages you view, under its own terms. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block Google Analytics with your browser’s content-blocking controls or Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and you can delete cookies in your browser settings.
