Where and when to report a missed trash, recycling or bulk pickup in US cities and counties.
Report a missed trash pickup to whoever runs your route: the city, often through 311 or an app, or the private hauler assigned to your address. Most places ask you to wait until the trucks’ working day ends and to report within one to three business days. Rule out a holiday delay, a late set-out or a driver’s tag first, since some cities charge for a return trip. The city’s or hauler’s lookup names who serves you.
