El Paso Eastside Citizen Collection Station
East El Paso drop-off station on Confederate Drive with the city’s Country Store, a free swap for household goods.
El Paso Eastside Citizen Collection Station hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 3500-3516 Confederate Dr, El Paso, TX 79936. Inside it is the Country Store, where residents leave and take gently used appliances, furniture, toys and bikes for free. Country Store items can be picked up only here. The station opened in 2018.
Serves: El Paso trash pickup and drop-off rules.
What this center takes and what it does not
For disposal, Eastside follows the one list the city sets for all five stations: household trash, household hazardous waste (up to 5 gallons of paint and motor oil a month), bulky items, recyclables, used electronics, and turkey grease and cooking oil. Construction and demolition material, commercial or contractor waste and commercial or leaking electronics are turned away. What it adds is the Country Store swap: the city says its items can be picked up only at the Confederate location.
About this site
The Country Store sits inside the station at 3510 Confederate Dr. Its rules: items cannot be put on hold, each household may take five items a month, and a water bill with a matching ID is needed to enter the station. The city’s station list gives the address as 3500-3516 Confederate Dr; the Community Services page and the city’s holiday notices use 3510 Confederate and call the site Eastside. The Environmental Services Department opened the Confederate station in 2018.
Rules at every Citizen Collection Station
Only El Paso residents may use the stations, each visitor with a station pass, a current water bill and an ID at the same address. The city’s other free programs, such as mulch, reusable paint and tool loans, run across all the stations; see El Paso Environmental Services for the full rules.
