Greater El Paso Landfill hours are Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 2600 Darrington Rd, Clint, TX 79928; it is closed Sunday. The City of El Paso Environmental Services Department runs it. Residents can take trash there directly, and haulers need a city hauler permit to deliver loads. It also takes used electronics.

Serves: El Paso trash pickup and drop-off rules.

Landfill or Citizen Collection Station?

The landfill in Clint and El Paso’s five Citizen Collection Stations have different hours and rules. The landfill opens at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday; the stations open at 8 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday. El Paso residents using a station need to request a pass and bring a current water bill and valid ID with matching addresses. The city’s four-visits-per-month rule applies to the stations, not a landfill allowance.

For a city drop-off closer to home, compare Central, Eastside, Mission Valley, Northeast and Westside. The stations accept residential household hazardous waste but prohibit construction and demolition material. Check the city’s station rules for your load instead of assuming that the landfill and stations accept the same items.
